Cookie Policy

This document contains information concerning technologies enabling the website to achieve the purposes described below. These technologies allow the Controller to collect and save information (for example, by using Cookies) or to use resources (for example, by running a script) on the User's device when the latter interacts with the website.

For simplicity, in this document these technologies are briefly referred to as "Tracking Tools", unless there is reason to differentiate.

For example, although Cookies can be used in both web and mobile browsers, it would be inappropriate to speak of Cookies in the context of mobile apps, since these are Tracking Tools that require a browser. For this reason, within this document the term Cookie is only used to specifically refer to that particular type of Tracking Tool.

Some of the purposes for which Tracking Tools are used may also require the User's consent. If consent is given, it can be freely withdrawn at any time by following the instructions contained in this document.

The website uses Tracking Tools operated directly by the Controller (commonly called "first-party" Tracking Tools) and Tracking Tools that enable services provided by third parties (commonly called "third-party" Tracking Tools). Unless otherwise specified within this document, such third parties have access to their respective Tracking Tools.

The duration and lifetime of Cookies and other similar Tracking Tools may vary depending on the settings implemented by the Controller or each third-party provider. Some of them expire at the end of the User's browsing session.

In addition to what is stipulated in the description of each of the categories below, Users may obtain more detailed and updated information on the duration, as well as any other relevant information – such as the presence of other Tracking Tools – in the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers (through the links provided) or by contacting the Controller.

For further information regarding Californian consumers and their privacy rights, Users may consult the Privacy Policy.

How to manage preferences and give or withdraw consent

There are various ways to manage preferences related to Tracking Tools and to give or withdraw consent where necessary:

Users can manage preferences relating to Tracking Tools directly through their device settings, for example, they can prevent the use or storage of Tracking Tools.

Moreover, whenever the use of Tracking Tools is dependent on consent, the User may give or withdraw such consent by setting its preferences within the cookie policy or by updating such preferences via the tracking settings widget, if there is one.

It is also possible to remove previously saved Tracking Tools using the special browser or device function.

Other Tracking Tools present in the local browser memory can be removed by deleting the browsing history.

Regarding third-party Tracking Tools, Users may manage their preferences and withdraw their consent by visiting the relevant opt-out link (if available), using the tools described in the third party's privacy policy or contacting the third party directly.

Locating Tracking Tools settings

Users can, for example, find information on how to manage Cookies in some of the most widespread browsers at the following addresses:

Users may also manage certain mobile app Tracking Tools by deactivating them via the appropriate device settings, such as mobile advertising settings or tracking settings in general (Users may refer to their device settings to find the relevant one).

How to deactivate interest-based advertising

Without prejudice to the foregoing, users are informed of the option to use the information on YourOnlineChoices (EU), Network Advertising Initiative (USA) and Digital Advertising Alliance (USA), DAAC (Canada), DDAI (Japan) or other similar services. These services enable the tracking preferences of most advertising tools to be managed. The Controller therefore advises Users to use these resources in addition to the information provided in this document.

The Digital Advertising Alliance also provides an app called AppChoices to help Users control behavioural advertising on mobile apps.

Consequences of denying consent

Users are free to decide whether to give consent. However, please note that Tracking Tools allow the website to provide a better experience and advanced features to Users (in line with the purposes outlined in this document). Therefore, the Controller may not be able to provide the relevant features without the User's consent.
